Home Dialysis in Burleson, TX

Burleson sits on the south edge of Fort Worth, where I-35W and Chisholm Trail Parkway start to feel like a daily tax. If you need dialysis, adding three clinic shifts on top of that traffic is a lot to ask of one household. Home dialysis near Burleson is a way to take the treatment off the highway. You train at a small independent clinic in Hurst, then you do peritoneal dialysis or home hemodialysis at home in Burleson, so the south side of the metro is where you live, not where you sit in a chair.

Sundance Home Dialysis is that Hurst clinic. Home-only. Not a national chain. Dr. Jalandhara started it in 2021 because getting onto home therapy was too slow and too confusing for people who already had enough to carry. We offer PD (APD and CAPD) and home hemodialysis. Education is free. You keep your referring nephrologist.

The drive from Burleson to Precinct Line Road in Hurst goes north through Fort Worth into the Mid-Cities. It is not next door. We will not pretend it is. It is also not a trip you have to make every dialysis day once you are trained. That difference is the whole argument for coming to see us.

Call 817-840-5191 and say you are in Burleson. Ask for a free education session.

Two home options, one local team

Peritoneal dialysis uses the lining of your abdomen. A surgeon places a soft catheter. You fill, dwell, and drain. Overnight cycler therapy (APD) is how many working people keep their days. Manual CAPD is the other rhythm. We teach both in plain language, not in brochure-speak.

Home hemodialysis brings the machine to your house. You and the team set the schedule. Treatments may be shorter and more frequent than a typical in-center shift.

Sundance is ACHC-accredited, as we already say on our site. The team you train with is the team you keep: home-dialysis nurses, a renal dietitian, a social worker. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

A home visit is part of starting at home. Supplies come to Burleson. You still belong to a clinic. You are not abandoned in Johnson County with a box of fluid.

Burleson to Hurst

Address for training and visits: 1809 Precinct Line Road, Hurst, TX 76054. From Burleson you are pointing north. Some people run 35W, some cut across Fort Worth, some use 121 once they are up in the Mid-Cities. Pick the route you trust.

If someone in the house can drive you for training week, that is often enough of a plan. After that, dialysis happens at home.

Education and referrals

Sit down with a nurse before you decide. Bring questions about work, travel, pets, a small house, or living alone. We will be straight about what PD or HHD needs from a space and from a person. If access still needs to be placed, we coordinate with your preferred surgeon.

Keep your kidney doctor. Transplant coordination, when that is the goal, already includes Baylor Scott & White All Saints, Medical City Fort Worth, Texas Health Harris Methodist, and UT Southwestern (refer page).

Physicians in Burleson and south Fort Worth: fax 817-840-5192 or use sundancedialysis.com/refer. Independent home-only program. You keep the relationship.
