Fort Worth is a big city with a lot of dialysis chairs. If you live here and your weeks already run on I-30, I-35W, or 121, three standing clinic shifts can swallow a life. Home dialysis near Fort Worth is the other path: peritoneal dialysis or home hemodialysis, trained in person, then done in your own house so the rest of the week can look like a week again.

Sundance Home Dialysis is an independent, home-only program. We are not a wing of a national chain. Dr. Jalandhara founded the clinic in 2021 so people with kidney disease would not have to wait in line for education, then wait again to start. The clinic itself sits in Hurst, just east of Fort Worth in the Mid-Cities, at 1809 Precinct Line Road. You come to Hurst to learn. You treat at home in Fort Worth.

That split matters. Training and clinic visits are a drive you can plan. Dialysis days are not. If you are in east Fort Worth or along 121, Hurst is a neighbor. If you are on the west side, near the Cultural District, or south toward Hulen, it is a longer but familiar hop across town, not a reason to stay in a chair if home therapy fits.

Sundance is small on purpose. You work with the same home-dialysis nurses, a renal dietitian, and a social worker. When something comes up, you call the Hurst clinic, not a national number. We are ACHC-accredited, the same way we already say on the site. We do not pad this page with star ratings.

PD uses the lining of your abdomen as a filter. Many people run a cycler overnight (APD) and wake up done for the day. Others do manual exchanges (CAPD). HHD uses a machine at home on a schedule you set with the team, often with shorter, more frequent treatments than a standard in-center shift. Neither is a personality type. Both are learned, then practiced, until you are ready.

Fort Worth patients come in for training at the Hurst clinic, Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Family is welcome in the room. After that, supplies come to your home. A home visit is part of sending you home safely.

Getting to the Hurst clinic from Fort Worth

The clinic is at 1809 Precinct Line Road, Hurst, TX 76054. From much of Fort Worth you are heading east toward the Mid-Cities, Precinct Line, and the Hurst / North Richland Hills edge. Use the route you already know. If mobility or a ride is the barrier, say so in the first call.

Once you are on home therapy, you are not making that drive three times a week for dialysis. That is the point.

Education, then a real choice

Thinking about kidney failure is heavy. A free education session is not a sales pitch and it is not a commitment. You (and whoever you bring) sit down, ask the blunt questions, and leave knowing more than you did. If PD or HHD is a fit, we help with the next steps, including coordinating access with your preferred surgeon when you do not have a catheter or fistula yet.

If you already have a nephrologist in Fort Worth, keep them. We coordinate. If transplant is on your map, we already work alongside Baylor Scott & White All Saints, Medical City Fort Worth, Texas Health Harris Methodist, and UT Southwestern (listed on our refer page).
